Capstone Project

This was the last project in school. I used everything I've learned to build a great experience for my playtesters. I added quests to the project which was very challenging but rewarding. The next phase was to design the quests to progress you through the level from start to finish.

I learned a lot about systems design when building around player health and stamina. I built a health, stamin, and invincible potion. The invincible potion added 15 seconds of invincibility to the player. I was also able to make sure that with every action a small amount of stamina would deplete making the need for a stamina potion all the more important.

Drop Loot Blueprint

I added a system where after the enemy is defeated, he drops an item. I made it so there is a 20% chance to drop any of the collectibles created. I used the random integer to make that happen. The item, after spawning, has a 4.5 second life span or it will disappear.
