I learned how to implement interfaces and reference other actors from blueprints. This taught me the basics of Unreal Engine's visual coding system. I was able to get the lights to turn green when the player steps on the platform. For example, I had a problem understanding how interfaces work and how to use event dispatchers to implement certain ideas. In this project, we were able to step on the pressure plate, send a signal to the the lights to turn green. I can use this to have other events fire. Like using a button to open a door or a building to explode. I struggled during this project because I was not thinking in coding logic.
